What’s it like being part of SPS? It feels good, the team has a bright future and Steve and I are 100% committed to make SPS number 1 in whatever we do.

What are your first impressions of the Santa Cruz V10? Awesome, the Aluminium V10 was really good and Santa Cruz have stepped it up again with the V10 carbon.

Favourite rider/biggest influence and why? A few. Palmer lit my fire when I was younger. Nico was the man and Steve, Gee and Brendan are my home boys!

Best UK DH track and why? Don’t have a favourite as they haven’t built it yet! Give me a hill, some man power and some time and I’ll build it.

How would you describe your riding style in three words? Not like Nico! (My mates would say something less polite)

Final thought/catchphrase/quote: As a manager; “Do as I say not as I do”, personally; “Stay the fuck on” or “STFO” which Loosedog and I came up with last season after one too many crashes.
